I’m Nithin

Software engineer who works the full stack, from Figma to distributed systems. Got my first computer at 5, and it became my home.

I got into programming out of need. Internet was a luxury for our family, so I ran an Evil Twin attack and broke into a nearby WiFi for my studies. It felt surreal. That pulled me into rooting and jailbreaking, and eventually a Senior Member spot on XDA.

Outside code, I game, shoot photos, and ride my Continental 650.

I played PUBG competitively in esports and ranked under top 300 in Asia.

I’m interested in.

  • Voice first interface.
  • Graph-based memory systems.
  • Language servers and ASTs.
  • Distributed systems.

My past founder journey.

I co-founded Basegraph and built Relay, a rapid incident response agent. It finds the RCA, reaches out to your engineer to discuss the fix, loops in CS and Support, and drafts the email to affected customers about what to promise and what not to. It pings your release engineer to coordinate release time, and gives the exec briefing to the founder, all within Slack and Linear.

This was powered by our graph-based brain layer that gave Relay situational awareness and let it adapt to the person it’s reaching out to, with role-appropriate context.

My past work.

  • Led Voicebot team of 4 engineers at Convin, a Series A startup. Re-architected and scaled the Voice AI platform 33x (30K to 1M calls/day, ~24M/mo) with zero-downtime releases.
  • Built a document ingestion and RAG pipeline that turned unstructured data (thousands of audio files and customer PDFs) into each agent’s call script, FAQ, and retrievable knowledge base. Cut client onboarding from a week to a day.
  • Led Account Aggregator Integration at Perfios, a $1bn fintech unicorn, converting one-off decision lending reports into recurring ones for financial institutions in APAC regions. Resulted in 300% increase in reports volume.

Books I’m reading.

  • Zero to One
  • The Book of Clarity
  • The Courage to Be Disliked
  • The Lean Startup
  • Designing Data-Intensive Applications
  • Kubernetes: Up & Running
